About Pakistan

       Pakistan is my beloved country. Its official name is Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It is a country in South East Asia. Its came into being in 1947 in the result of Indian separation. Before 1971 it had two wings which were East Pakistan and West Pakistan. East Pakistan became Bangladesh in the result of civil war due to political problems and conspiracies of India. It is a world fifth most populous country with population of 212 million. Pakistan is the 34th largest country in the world. 

Pakistan Army has been ranked the 10th most powerful in the world out of 133 countries on the Global Firepower index 2021, according to data released by the group on its official website and 7th largest army in the world.

       

      Pakistan has six designated UNESCO World Heritage sites: the archaeological ruins at Moenjodaro; the Buddhist ruins of Takht-i-Bahi and neighboring city remains at Sahr-i-Bahlol; the fort and Shalamar Gardens in Lahore; the monuments at Makli; Fort Rohtas; and the ancient ruins of Taxila
